J-POP Summit 2015 in San Francisco

Fort Mason Center in SF

I dropped by J-POP Summit 2015 yesterday.  It is the 7th J-POP event and first time for them to bundle with some business exhibitions.

In the Japanese traditions, there are some unique culture to bring a new business product into the current and future era.

Panel Discussion

At the panel discussion, the speakers talked about "Manufacturing That Links Tech & Culture - The Future of the Maker Movement"

The Keynote speech by Kaoru Sugano about Interactive Techonologies was also interesting.

I was also impressed by a wheal chair by Yamaha which is very easy and comfortable to operate and ride.  It runs 20km with Ni-MH and 40km with Li-ion batteries.
