Quite a job

I found the top 4 reasons why people leave their jobs according to Forbes and a study by Accenture posted by Derek Brown in LinkeIn as follows;

1. Lack of Recognition            43%
2. Negative internal politics    35%
3. They don't like their boss    31%
4. They don't feel empowered 31%

I do believe that the half of management job is HCR(Human Capital Relationship).  If her/his staff enjoy their jobs and accomplish their roles and responsibilities, a management job will be much easier.

But it is not so simple.

Indeed, the company culture is one of the keys just like a school color.

でも相手が頑張れないほど大変な局面にあるときには酷な言葉だと思います。

頑張らない。

流れに身を任せるという開き直りもたまには必要でないでしょうか？

Amazon Fresh with Amazon Dash

I do not know other towns, but here in Seattle area, I often see Amazon Fresh truck in the street.  Currently this service is Seattle, SFO and Southern CA only.

Now, they are making another innovation for daily shopping by Amazon Dash.

Why Amazon?  You can see why from their following portfolio.  They have been making significant investments to innovate their business and change the world.  This philosophy is same as "Sankata Yoshi" which is very famous Japanese business philosophy.

Personally, I do hope that the people are smart enough to balance out with local shopping at their market; e.g. march.

Eco Friendly Transportation - Bike Share

Rent Bike in Manhattan

It rains a lot in Seattle but bicycle is very popular here in summer time.  It is now about ending rainy season here and we are going into the best season of a year with beautiful blue sky.

Now Bike Share is going to start here in Seattle this summer.

I saw bike share in Manhattan, NYC and I thought it was a great idea.

I am surprised at reading that the nonprofit will meet $4.4M startup budget which they got $1M grant from the U.S. government, $750,000 from the WA state and $0.5M from Seattle Children's.

I hope the eco-friendly transportation will be boom in the large city even such as Tokyo.

I still feels the importance of SPEED.  She was told to hop on a rocket.  Indeed you do not have time to think but you must make a decision.... Do not think !  Just feel... believe yourself and your intuition.  This is what I experienced when I had to make a big decision in the past.

It is interesting that a carrier is referred not as a ladder but a jungle jim.  Yes, it is complicated to develop your carrier but you also need to realize that you can find several path options.

To be confident should not be stubborn.  She refers to be open.
To be open, you need to be a good listener.
