TPP 3 - Trust?

In Japan, most local government showed the difficulty to join in TPP.  The Japanese business industry top people are worried about not to sit at table for TPP negotiation.

The local governments seem to be in the position in protecting the first industrial such as agriculture which I can understand well.  In other words, they do not trust the current Japanese government/politicians who can negotiate to lead the best solutions among TPP.

The area which we should not open is the financial industry.  Except the US, all other Pacific-Rim countries are so premature.  Also, we are facing the world economy chaos with this financial game.

Anyway, I personally think that Japan should sit at TPP table to seek for the best solution for Japan with other countries.  In the worst case, Japan might not join in TPP or partially-joint depending on the terms and conditions.  But to walk way from TPP table is not right thing to do.

日本の地方行政はTPP参加に難色。一方ビジネス業界はその逆。

地方行政の立場は、農業などの第一産業を守ることが主な立場にあるとすれば、理解できます。しかし、言い換えれば、地方行政は政府や政治家を信頼しておらず、TPPで成果を挙げる交渉ができない不安があるのかもしれません。

私は金融業界はOPENにするべきではないと考えています。米国以外に環太平洋地域の国々はその分野ではあまりにも遅れています。そして、世界全体がまさにマネーゲームで苦しんでいる最中です。

まずは、TPP交渉のテーブルについて、日本が他の国々と最良の解決策を模索することが必要だと思います。最悪の場合、日本はTPPには参加しない、もしくは条件によっては部分参加もあり得るのではないでしょうか？ TPP交渉のテーブルから逃げるのは正しい選択ではないと思います。
