Learn from others - 人から学ぶこと

The Japanese language to LEARN （学ぶ） comes from to COPY（まねる）. 

When everyone is small, he has his own hero.  Then, he tries to copy him exactly what he does because he wants to be like him.  A successor biography gave me the similar excitement when I was the elementary student.

Now I read Steve Jobs Biography, I found myself  in this book. At the same time, it is a kind of process to reconfirm who I am by removing the illusion and plate.  Of course, I cannot be Steve Jobs and I do not want to be someone else.  I need to be what I want to be.

The job is one of the good stages in my life to leave my own passion.  Well, have I been doing right?  Do I still keep the passion?  What do you work for?  How do you work for? 

Before answering these questions, I have to ask myself WHY I am working.

This book helps me to remember it.

学ぶは真似ぶからきています。

誰もが幼い頃にはヒーローがいました。そして、ヒーローのようになりたいとその真似事をしていたのは誰もが経験したことだと思います。小学生時代、成功者の伝記はそれに似た興奮を与えてくれました。

スティーブ・ジョブズの伝記を読み、彼のやっていたことに自分自身を投影して観ていた自分も発見しました。でもそれはある意味、幻想やメッキを剥がしながら本来の自分自身の確認のプロセスにもなりました。 もちろんスティーブ・ジョブズにはなれるはずはないし、他の誰にもなりたいとも思いません。自分のなりたいようになることが大切です。

仕事は人生において自分の捧げた情熱を表現するに最適な場のひとつであると思います。それをしているだろうか？まだ情熱を持っているだろうか？何のために働くのか？どうやって働くのか？

いや、そうしたことに答える前に何故働きたいのか、働くのかを問いかけ直す必要があります。

この本はそれを思い出させてくれました。
