Summer School for Children

I had a chance to lecture the children, pre-school - 5th grade elementary school (4 - 11 years old)  at Bellevue Children Academy.  The classes was decided into two; 4 - 7 years old and 7 - 11 years old.

It is one of their summer school course and the theme was entrepreneur.

My first thought was to give them a motivation with their understanding why they need to study.
Also, I talked about a greeting with smile and gratitude and it is the best way to make a company.

A company is a group of friends.
To make a friend, a smile agreeing is the first step... and etc.

I also talked about a leadership and graduated in the elder class.  And I passed the Japanese word, OKAGESAMA, as a gratitude to enjoy the life with Happy & Happy.

I had many interactive conversations with them and I really enjoyed this opportunity.

It is one of my business portfolio but the educational portfolio is more likely volunteer work which I can also learn something through this kind of service.


地元のベルビュー・チルドレン・アカデミーのサマースクールで子ども達に講演する機会をいただきました。

対象は、４歳から１１歳までの園児・児童（幼稚園児〜小学５年生）の約１００名。

そして、テーマは、「起業家」

ストレートに「起業家」という題では、年齢的には重いと考えて、題名は「Dream comes true」。学校側の期待も「子ども達に夢と可能性を与えるような、インスパイアリングな話を小さな子供相手に噛み砕いて、ビジュアル・参加型質問を交えて盛り上げて欲しい」というものがありました。

考えたのが、勉強するモチベーションを与える。そして、笑顔で挨拶と感謝の大切さを伝えたいと考えました。

会社という英単語は、別にいえば、友達の集団。
友達を作るには、笑顔での挨拶などなど。

上の年齢のクラスでは、リーダーシップを桃太郎の物語引用と「感謝」について話をし、最後には「おかげさま」という日本語を覚えてもらい、人生を楽しむポイントは「Happy & Happy」を伝えさせて頂きました。

多くの質疑応答を交えながら、私自身が楽しみながら勉強させてもらいました。

教育も私のビジネス分野のひとつですが、どちらかというとボランティア活動の一貫になることが多いのですが、元気とモチベーションを頂いています。感謝！
