IoT is the market trend but the copy solution does not give any good result.

You may find some new good solutions in the old hardware technologies with Internet solution value-add.

The good target is the home appliances.

The key of its differentiation of IoT is the contribution to the public.  I found one of examples in Whirlpool solution at CES2015.  They offer the donation contribution through Habitat for humanity.

Rather than the convenience, there is an answer in the world contribution.

物作り日本！！

何も家電に代表されるハードウエアだけではなし。

和紙、糸メーカー、富士通のコラボによるwashitex FT1。

抗菌作用のある富士通が特許を持つパウダー素材を使って、和紙糸に練り込み、抗菌作用のある和紙糸からポロシャツ作成。世界遺産にも選ばれた和紙がこんな風にも変貌できるのも面白いですね。同じ手法で壁紙など色々な汎用性も考えられます。当然、障子や襖にも活用。

日本で認可されている特許１４万件のうち、半数近くの７万件が活用されずに特許資産として税金を払っているだけ。

それはもったいないということで業界を超えたコラボレーション。

Bitcoin Exchange in the USA

In the USA, 24 states approved Bitcoin exchange as officially regulated ecosystem.

On the other hand,  Mt. Gox was filed as the chapter 11 in Japan and the founder and CEO of bitcoin was found dead last year in Singapore.

I think Paypal has been making some evolution for online payment vs. the traditional credit cards.

Now, bitcoin...  I am not sure what kind of impacts we start seeing in the financial industry with this service, but some new era door seems to be opened again.

IoT - JINS MEME眼鏡

This is the smartglasses from JINS of the Japanese companies at CES2015.
It is a totally different technology concept from Google glass.

今月ラスベガスであったCES2015で気になったIoTブースのひとつが、JINS眼鏡

パソコン用として愛用している眼鏡は、日本出張中にJINSで作り、ある就職相談に乗ったことからも気になっていた企業でした。ただGoogle Glassは、実用性の魅力をあまり感じることなく、眼鏡とIoTのソリューションは？とあまり期待していませんでした。

しかし、立ち寄ってみて、なるほど！と嬉しい意味で期待を裏切られました。対応してくれた方が、幸運にも開発担当者だったこともあり、色々と話しを聞くことができました。その名もJINSミーム。

目の周辺（三点式）の皮膚の動きからくる電位差を捉え目の動きを察知。そのアプリ開発キットもすでに出ています。

基本開発は、大学との共同開発。先のアプリケーションは、APIを公開し広く世界中から公募するエコ組織。餅屋は餅屋に任せる良いフォーメーションだと思います。慶応大学大学院（KMD)の稲見教授も関われていることを知って、何か縁を感じました。

仕事でハードウエア、ソフトウエアの両方に関わった経験からIoT（Internet of Thing)時代に物作りの日本復活の可能性を見ています。
